About BAGFT

Bulgarian Association of Grain and Feed Traders (BAGFT) is a non profit organization, registered in April 2010.

The Association is a voluntary professional organization of grain and feed traders in Bulgaria, whose relations are based on principles of equality, trust, tolerance and fair competition.

Association stands up for its principles without proceed from the private and temporary market situation and respects to the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria and European standards and regulations of the free market and competition.

The goals of Association are:

To represent and protect the legal interests of its members before the State, state authorities and other institutions in the country, local and international organizations, as well as to other NGOs.

To participate actively in cooperation with state authorities in drafting regulations in Bulgaria concerning the activities Association's members.

To implement and promote honest and clear commercial mechanisms and ethical business standards for trade in grain and feed in the country.

The process of grain market establishment in the country went through different stages of development, but today in the united European market its norms and directives are fundamental.

BAGFT team knows perfectly European and international requirements and practices and through its website and initiatives will inform and assist its members to develop successfully their business

Bulgarian Association of Grain and Feed is convinced that only through joint efforts can be achieved and stand up for the goals and the tasks it has set.

BAGFT participates in the Advisory Grains Council with the Minister of Agriculture and Food.

BAGFT is an associate member of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

BAGFT is a member of the European Association of Cereals, Rice, Feedstuffs, Oliveseeds, Olive oil, Oils and Fats and Agrosupply Trade.
